‘We are a community band working in the community for the community. Our mission is to promote music making for the enjoyment of all, and at the same time provide a platform for amateur and student players. The band consists of about 35 instrumentalists - woodwind, brass and percussion. All members bring their own talents to help achieve our objectives ... Our repertoire includes film and show, light classical, popular music and marches ... We are always pleased to receive enquiries to play at events within a reasonable distance of Leeds, but please note that we are a concert band, not a marching band or dance band.’
