'If you would like to join like-minded ladies and enjoy community singing, then please contact us. There is no need to be able to read music. We rehearse weekly; regularly visit OAP groups, nursing homes etc to entertain them; put on public concerts with guest artistes or in collaboration with other musical groups; and enjoy social activities together.'

‘CAOS has been entertaining the Vale of Glamorgan since 1969 and wish to continue to do so for many years to come ... Our members come from the surrounding area, Cowbridge, Barry, Rhoose, St. Athan and Llantwit Major. We used to be known as Cowbridge Amateur Operatic Society but have ... changed our name ... as we felt that this description suits today’s Society better. We are a mixed choir and aim to sing all types of music, to please all tastes. We perform concerts in various venues in the Vale ... Although we enjoy singing as a choir, we would love to be able to perform a full show, as we have in the past ... To be able to do this and other shows again we really need some new members in the group.’

'We are a four part mixed choir (SATB) of about forty voices ... Our main objective is to enjoy singing. Each year we give a number of concerts in the locality sometimes in support of charitable causes. We also give occasional shorter recitals such as singing on stage in the foyer of Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff and at local residential care homes at Christmas.' ALERT At Review, the Singers' Website and Facebook Pages referenced here did not seem recently to have been updated.

‘A Penarth-based chamber choir ... We're a mixed SATB choir of experienced choristers from around Cardiff and the Vale numbering just 16 voices. We may be compact but we make a surprisingly big sound and specialise in singing a cappella (without accompaniment). The choir's name reflects the extensive range of music we perform, from show tunes and pop songs in concert to classical pieces and sacred music in cathedrals.‘
