‘Play all your favourite music in the Alveley Village Band. Our members go away happy and refreshed after playing the best arrangements possible for brass, woodwind, strings and percussion. We are unique - our band offers parts for all instruments so all musicians can participate. We guarantee you'll love being part of the band. Local children give the band a thumbs-up too! Come and join us!’

'Brings together both amateur and professional musicians from Bridgnorth and the surrounding area. At present we rehearse on Sunday afternoons, once a month in St John the Evangelist church hall. The orchestra was originally founded ... in 2009 and in June 2012 we gave our first public concert ... to a large and appreciative audience. Our aim is to promote music in Bridgnorth and share our love of making music with the town.'
