'Founded in 1944 in the Belfast shipyard of Harland and Wolff, the Harlandic has grown in stature over the years and is today certainly one of Northern Ireland's better known choirs with thirty six members in its ranks coming from all walks of life. The age range of members is from 20-90! The choir undertakes about ten musical engagements each year, between September and May. The range of music includes part songs, folk songs, opera choruses, musical theatre, traditional songs, church music and hymns.'
