'Started in 1960 ... Our repertoire ranges from 16th Century works to those of living composers and covers both major serious and popular works ... Members are from a wide age range and many different backgrounds. Some of us like to do solos and some wouldn't dream of it. Some are fluent sight readers and others like to learn by ear. If you have ever thought of singing in a choir then why not come along. We welcome all new members, whatever your voice, but especially those who sing tenor and bass parts.'

Members come from a broad range of backgrounds and a relatively wide area, extending from mid Lancashire in the North to mid Cheshire in the South.'
