‘Formed in 1919 ... There are usually four concerts a year, all of which take place in the Dartford area ... One concert each season is a Civic concert. Many of our soloists are professional singers but we also aim to encourage young emerging singers by offering opportunities for them to sing at selected concerts ... We suggest potential new members come, initially, to two or three rehearsals, to "try us out" and see if we are what you are looking for!’
