'If you enjoy singing and want to be part of a friendly group of like-minded people, why not come and meet us? We typically perform three or four times per year, in the Ferneham Hall and local churches. You are welcome to attend a few rehearsals before you make up your mind to become a member; if you decide to stay you will be asked to carry out a short voice assessment with our musical director ... Previous experience and ability to sight read are desirable but not essential.'

‘Started in 2009 in the Lowry Room at St Faith's Church, Lee-on-the-Solent, with the intention to form a choir for ladies who wanted to sing, but perhaps didn't feel very confident about their voices !  A measure of success is that ... many ladies have grown in confidence and have felt able to sing with other choirs.’

‘We are a friendly chorus welcoming women from 16 years to infinity to come and join us. We sing four part harmony. All we need is a note from a pitch pipe and we can sing anywhere - and we do! It's FREE to visit on rehearsal night for four weeks, so what have you got to lose? ... We are part of an organisation called Sweet Adelines International, which began in the USA over sixty years ago and has progressed all around the globe. The worldwide membership of Sweet Adelines extends over five continents and has more than 500 choruses and 1,200 quartets amongst its members.’

‘Exists to give local people the chance to play and listen to quality music-making in a relaxed environment. We are an entirely self-funded military-style concert band with a varied repertoire, including marches, musicals and much more! The band is split into a main band and a training section. The training section allows beginners to get experience of playing in a band and also gives main band members a chance to try out a new instrument. The main band performs regularly for fetes, concerts and other community events around the local area and is available for bookings.’
