'We're a friendly, mixed choir, about 65 strong. We rehearse and perform in and around Helensburgh & Lomond on the west coast of Scotland. We have stunning views across the 3-mile wide Firth of Clyde, and 8 miles the other way, over the Black Hill, are the bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomond ... Our entry requirement is that you can sing a scale and a line of music in tune. If you can read music that will he an advantage and if not you will learn how to do that through practise during rehearsal.' Alert Website not accessible at Review; cf Dumbarton and Vale of Leven Reporter news item (25 August 2017).
