The Church of St Peter & St Paul in Langton by Spilsby have for over a decade presented annually two chamber concerts: in May and in September.  Each concert is 'followed by drinks and canapés in the candlelit church'. The Church itself is 'a Grade I listed building in the Classical style with box pews facing each other, a three decker pulpit and a gallery at the western end. There are said to be only three parish churches in England which share the same arrangement of facing box pews'.

‘We hold monthly concerts given by some of the top organists from this country and abroad ... We actively encourage members of the public to come along to our concerts, to join in with what we know is a friendly relaxing atmosphere, where we hope they will all enjoy the music.’

‘We are a friendly fourth section brass band in Horncastle, in the centre of Lincolnshire. With a Senior and Junior Band we have members of all ages and all standards - call in and see us! Lessons given in term time on Saturday mornings ... We play to a high standard and generally do not enter national contests. We do however enter the local Butlins Contest in Skegness, January annually.’

‘The objective of the choir is to perform at least two choral concerts per year. Concerts are usually performed at St Mary’s Church, Horncastle and are held in December and May ... Rehearsals are usually relaxed and, while enjoyable, we do have a more serious side that aims to provide as high a musical standard as possible ... Membership is open to anyone who is able to sing in tune, and subject to current choir numbers. Should the choir be full, an applicant is welcome to go on the waiting list, to be contacted when a vacancy becomes available. An informal and friendly audition is required, which is undertaken by the Musical Director and/or the Accompanist.’

'Collectively-run community venue, staffed entirely by volunteers ... The Spilsby Theatre was formed from the former Sessions House and gaol in this small Lincolnshire town ... The interior of the building has much atmosphere.' ALERT At Review: ‘We have taken the first steps towards an exciting £3.5m project to transform the grade II listed Spilsby Theatre into an outstanding facility for the community. It would create employment, boost the local economy and breath life into an iconic building.’
