There is no audition and everyone's voice is welcome, no matter how rusty or polished! The rehearsals are best described as a combination of fun and laughter as well as focused learning and thoughtful singing. Everyone is valued and worrying is not allowed! ... The choir aims to put on at least one major public performance each year (which involves all members of the choir) and also attends a number of other local functions (often with smaller groups of singers).‘

'Choir of around 30 voices. Specialising in singing unaccompanied choral music the Choir also performs works that are accompanied by piano/organ or a chamber orchestra. This established choir enjoys a reputation for high quality choral singing in the Leighton Buzzard and Linslade area of Bedfordshire, but their reputation also spreads far beyond this area as they have spent many successful weekends singing in British cathedrals and other churches ... The name, Linsdale Singers, came about after a misspelling in the programme of the choir’s first public performance in the Methodist Chapel, Wingrave, in October 1978!'
