'We have been in action "along the Guisborough road" since 1975. During those 40+ years we have hosted many of the Folk World’s leading performers as well as visitors who becoming friends of the club return often. Visitors are always welcome- singers, musicians, poets, music hall, dancers, & audience. We are not precious about musical styles or genres and no pressure to perform.'
Club reborn in 2010, 27 years after its demise. Saturday evening concerts about every two months.

'Takes place annually during the last week in June. It is a competitive festival - a member of the British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech - which seeks to provide a platform for performers of all ages who wish to develop their performance skills in a friendly and supportive environment.'
‘Staithes has a long and celebrated history of art from the 19th century Staithes Group of Artists to the present day ... Visitors will be able to walk the maze of lanes visiting “galleries” as well as taking part in a programme of guided walks, workshops, talks and film shows. Heritage too plays an important part in the life of the village and will be celebrated in events and exhibitions throughout the weekend. There will be a vibrant programme of music ranging from street buskers to concerts.‘ Held Early September.

Formed 1967: ‘The Society usually performs three concerts a year. High quality soloists and / or instrumentalist are engaged for the performances - using local talent, wherever possible ... The Society is always open to receiving new members. There are no initial auditions, but the ability of new members to blend with the choir will be reviewed by the conductor after a few weeks ... We extend our thanks to all those wonderful conductors and accompanists who have served us so well ... to the members who have shared the responsibilities for running the Society and putting on concerts, and to the patrons and audiences who have supported the work in many ways’.

‘Every year free band concerts are held between May and September. Volunteers from the Saltburn 500 Club work hard to raise money to maintain the bandstand and organise the concerts with support from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and Saltburn, Marske and New Marske Parish Council.’
