'The Richmondshire Concerts take place in a light, airy ex-cinema, now called the Influence Church, in Victoria Road, Richmond. It's the best classical music venue in the district. It's warm, and has comfortable, raked seating, clear sight-lines and an excellent acoustic. Seats are un-numbered. The venue is about 20 minutes by car from Leyburn or Darlington, 30 from Northallerton, Bedale or Barnard Castle, 40 from Thirsk, Ripon, Stockton or Durham ...'

Founded 2010: ‘We are a welcoming women's choir for military Wives, Affiliates, Girlfriends and Servicewomen based in and around the Catterick Garrison area ... The Choir’s ethos has always been to provide support, friendship and fun through singing and this has never been more evident than when the ladies are dealing with lengthy periods of separation from their loved ones. For many, the support from the Choir is what keeps them going, when their wider families live many miles away ...’

'Has origins going back to 1879 and in its time has sung most of the great choral works. Its name has changed several times to include or not the "shire" suffix and be either "Choral" or "Musical" and on a few occasions it has closed down for a short time due to shortage of singers during times of war and epidemic but has always bounced back ... We usually give two concerts a year, one in December and the other in the Spring, which can be March, April or May depending upon when Easter falls, and when other local ensembles are performing.'

'Founded in 1989. From small beginnings we have grown to be an established choir of some 40 members, primarily from Swaledale and Wensleydale ... We sing an eclectic mix of musical styles, including major choral works, light opera choruses and folk songs, by such as Mozart, Sullivan and Rutter. Concerts in local churches, including in recent years at the Swaledale Festival, are given around three times a year, often to support a charity.'

‘We are three Community Choirs ... Platform 1, Platform 2, The Branch Line ...  Anyone who wants or likes to sing is welcome to join us and there is no audition to go through. The choirs are friendly and welcoming with the emphasis on enjoying our singing. We have two terms during the year, autumn and spring, and each term ends in a performance of the best songs learned that term. The choirs perform separately and together to produce an evening to remember. We are also strong supporters of local charities and we have raised £1000s on their behalf ... The Station Charity (RPBT) kindly helped to underwrite the cost of launching The Station Singers in September 2011. Due to our great success, from August 2013, we now are self-financing, and operate as an independent community group.‘
