‘We are a mixed choir of around 30 members who sing anything from Handel to Lloyd Webber We can be booked for any occasion ... We recently decided to change our name to “Salford Royal Choir” to reflect the new Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust image. Legally this is not possible (we can’t use the word ‘Royal’), so, legally, we will still be known as “Salford Hospital Choir”, but locally, for concert purposes, “Salford Royal Choir”.’
