‘Has an ethos of making music for fun and although we have only recently formed every concert we have played has been a sell out. We have plans to perform regularly at venues all over the midlands and at festivals and some cities in the UK ... We don’t set out to be an overly serious symphony orchestra. We will play anything from some rock to light classics – from Bond themes to Blues. Some pieces from musicals perhaps – some folk maybe - a possible touch of Pachelbel and Bach. If you are only into pure heavy classical music then we are probably not for you!! We particularly want to tempt back to music those of you who used to play some time ago but have lost the reason to get back into it. If you want to regularly play to packed audiences and have a lot of fun - then come and join us!‘

‘Holy Trinity is the church where William Shakespeare was baptised, where he worshipped and where he is buried ... As well as boasting a very fine Church Choir, Holy Trinity also has an active music group, as well as various worship bands. Although the music and hymns that these groups perform differ widely, they all have the same aim in mind: to enhance the worship of its congregation by enriching the liturgy through music ... The Friends of the Music was established in 1983 by choir members, musicians and lovers of church music to support and help develop music in Holy Trinity. The Friends support the work of the Church Choir and Music Group and organise a programme of fund-raising events and concerts throughout the year.‘
