'Singing in harmony since 1900 ... The Choir has travelled far since those early days, but its aim remains the same: "The study of Choral music as suited to Male voices and to give the listening public the highest standard of Male voice singing." As a Choir local to Clydebank we are always keen to recruit new members, and currently have members from all parts of the West of Scotland whose ages range from 20 to 90.'

‘2017 was the Band’s most successful season to date. The band won three majors - the British, United Kingdom and Scottish Championships - as well as being runners up at the European and World Championships. The band were also crowned champions of champions and the drum corps finished the season second place in the champion’s table having won the World and United Kingdom drumming titles. On the 23rd of September the band were promoted to Grade 1 for the 2018 season. Lomond and Clyde are currently in an incredibly strong position as we look to build on our 2017 success in the upcoming season. The band’s aims are simple – work hard, play well and enjoy ourselves on the competition park. With all members striving towards this, we believe that we have the talent, leadership and guidance to be successful in Grade One.’

‘The music at St Augustine’s is varied and usually modern, using Hymns Old and New, Complete Mission Praise, punctuated with Taize chants, and anything else that inspires us and makes our worship uplifting and joyful! We mix and match the old favourites with contemporary stuff, and it seems to work out well! Our wonderful pipe organ is in desperate need of restoration, and this may happen after we find the £100,000 needed to restore it! Meanwhile we have a lively Music Group that includes a clavinova, guitars, clarinet, vocalists, and the occasional African drum! We make a bonnie noise ... The acoustics in St Augustine’s are wonderful, and various bands and choirs have recorded their material in our building. There is also an Accoustic Night in church on the second Friday of every month where local talent come along and sing and or play.’
