'Throughout the year a series of workshops and playing and singing days are organised within the region where members have the opportunity to study works under the guidance of early music specialist tutors. These activities include Baroque chamber music playing days, singing days focusing on particular composers or periods, and workshops preparing larger scale works for both voices and instruments etc.'

'A Centre of Advanced Training (CAT) and a music charity working with talented young instrumentalists, singers and composers aged 8 – 18 years in the South West of England. Due to the geographical nature of the South West, we are not building based but are a "virtual" school working with young people on an individual basis in their local area.'

‘The Council of WEBBA is responsible for the organisation of the annual West of England Regional Finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain ... We also engage with the other councils, associations or bodies that govern other areas of the Amateur Brass Band Movement throughout the United Kingdom, constantly seeking to maintain and improve the standards of the Regional Finals ... The Council is comprised of representatives from the Cornwall, Gloucestershire, South West and Wessex Brass Band Associations, who work together to progress the aims of the organisation.’
